“Nowruz With Pashmak” is a children’s book I wrote and illustrated inspired by my Iranian background. Through this book, I want to share my cultural heritage and traditions with others. It is a book sharing the story of Pashmak, a Persian cat, who sets up for Nowruz, (Persian New Year) for the first time, all by herself. Pashmak translates to cotton candy in Persian.
